The 42nd release on Suffused Music finds the Lithuanian imprint debuting an exciting new artist collaboration. Valentine Morgen and Rembrand both hail from Yekaterinburg, Russia and have achieved some nice success in their solo production careers. Valentine Morgen's melodic trance sound found its way on to the Basskraft and Receptive imprints while Rembrand's more techno inspired sound has been featured on Tracklord, Vinyl Loop and Iplug. The duos debut EP for Suffused Music is entitled 'Bedroom Stars' and features the Russian pairs most inspiring work to date. Valentine & Rembrand's varied production background has spawned a hybrid style that's showcased wonderfully with the driving, techy rhythms of 'Looking For' and the crunchy, progressive lines of 'Mars Rover Curiosity'. The duos unique vocal samples just add to the storytelling aspect of their productions and peak interest on the dance floor as well. It's a superb debut for this newly constructed duo and with three fresh interpretations from Dr. Avalance, LoQuai and Neptun 505 it more than continues Suffused Music's strong presence in the progressive house underground. - Release Promo
