Josel - Making Time EP incl. CJ Peeton, Marc Pollen, Sean McClennan [SMD044]

After the success of his latest single 'Jenny The Junkie' it was no surprise that Josel is back on Suffused Music with 'Making Time', a track that uses energetic Rhodes chords and stylish, mulilayered strings. The remixers tried to melt their musical ideas with the main elements. The original got remixed by Cj Peeton (the groovy), Marc Pollen (the laidback) and Sean McClellan (the deep factor).

The original mix combining the groovy side of deep house, with the floating structure of progressive tunes.

Cj Peeton turned back time and created a garage-taste baseline under the main synth notes, topped with driving percussions and addtional melodies.

Marc Pollen was more in a progressive mood, turning up the weightless atmosphere factor reaching a smooth overall output.

Sean McClellan shaped his point of view on a deep edge, with an additional bass pulsation. - Greyloop

Robert R. Hardy - Dreams EP [SMD041]

The 41st release on Suffused Music sees the debut of one Europe's most promising electronic music talents. Robert R. Hardy hails from Hungary and many deep progressive fans may also know him from his D.M.P alias. Collectively the two monikers have appeared on some of the hottest underground imprints including BQ Recordings, Clinique Recordings, Electronic Tree, Reelaux Digital and Stellar Fountain Deep. Robert's richly textured, atmospheric brand of deep house is earning him more fans with each successive production and his 'Pressure' podcast continues to showcase some of the freshest underground music around. Robert's debut EP for Suffused Music is entitled 'Dreams' and it comes with 3 brand new original tracks. Followers of Robert know that with each of his productions you're going to get something that is both meticulously crafted and also quite memorable. All three tracks included here have amazing moments whether it be the ethereal atmospheres and shimmering textures of the title cut 'Dreams' or the chunky foundation and laser-like lines of 'Thirty'. The shining moment on the EP though may come with the undeniably catchy bass tones which drive 'Tuned in the Spring'. A definite cross-over track with some classic techno sensibilities. The three compositions here are so strong on their own that it's not surprising that Suffused Music has opted not to do any remixes. When the original material is of this quality it's best to just let it stand on its own. Fabulous EP from Robert R. Hardy. - Release Promo

Agrande - Arrival Of The Envoy EP incl. Cybernalia, Dr. Avalance, Undertribe [SMD040]

The 40th release on Suffused Music features the return of Agrande to the label. The Berlin based producer last appeared on the labels 'Suffused Grooves Vol. 1' compilation which was released on the first day of April. Agrande's career began on the 7 Seas NuWaves label in 2011 and he's grown immensely as a producer ever since. His productions are routinely supported by John 00 Fleming and Paul Oakenfold and his discography now contains releases on some of the most cutting edge labels around with Mistique Music and Electronic Tree being the most notable. Agrande's new single for Suffused Music is entitled 'Arrival of the Envoy' and it showcases the Berlin based producer at his absolute best. The percussive groove gets the production off to a great start and as the wispy atmospheric backdrop continues to build a light tension comes over the track. Following a short break and quick build the framework gets accented with delicate electronic accents. This leads to the main drop where haunting vocal elements combined with airy atmospheres cast a very ethereal vibe over the piece. The beats are soon summoned back in along with the clattering complement of drums and spacey electronics hich make for an exhilarating conclusion. In addition to Agrande supplying a dub mix of 'Arrival of the Envoy' there is also a superb collection of remixes from: Cybernalia, Dr. Avalance and Undertribe which round out another exceptional release from Suffused Music. - Release Promo

Mark Found - Cutting the Clouds EP incl. One Million Toys, Eugene Loner, Platunoff [SMD043]

Mark Found's debut release came as part of Mistique Music's storied 'Collection' series. The Italian producer appeared on the labels 18th edition which was released in December of 2013. Mark has since gone on to appear on Darkpload Deep and Inception. He's as comfortable with producing deep progressive groovers as he is with more melodic trance which he's clearly shown with his recent releases. Mark's debut single for Suffused Music is entitled 'Cutting The Clouds' and it sees the Italian producer with a deep and haunting production that's filled with emotion. The laid back groove is well complemented with smooth hypnotic lines, strong hooks and blissful electronics. The emotional build peaks during the main drop with perfectly textured sheets of harmony providing a never ending string of goosebump moments that are the crowning achievement of Mark's career thus far. Certainly one of the standout originals from Suffused Music's ever growing catalog and with three top remixes from: Eugene Loner, One Million Toys and Platunoff it looks set to be one of the labels best releases to date. - Release Promo

Valentine Morgen & Rembrand - Bedroom Stars EP [SMD042]

The 42nd release on Suffused Music finds the Lithuanian imprint debuting an exciting new artist collaboration. Valentine Morgen and Rembrand both hail from Yekaterinburg, Russia and have achieved some nice success in their solo production careers. Valentine Morgen's melodic trance sound found its way on to the Basskraft and Receptive imprints while Rembrand's more techno inspired sound has been featured on Tracklord, Vinyl Loop and Iplug. The duos debut EP for Suffused Music is entitled 'Bedroom Stars' and features the Russian pairs most inspiring work to date. Valentine & Rembrand's varied production background has spawned a hybrid style that's showcased wonderfully with the driving, techy rhythms of 'Looking For' and the crunchy, progressive lines of 'Mars Rover Curiosity'. The duos unique vocal samples just add to the storytelling aspect of their productions and peak interest on the dance floor as well. It's a superb debut for this newly constructed duo and with three fresh interpretations from Dr. Avalance, LoQuai and Neptun 505 it more than continues Suffused Music's strong presence in the progressive house underground. - Release Promo

NuFects - Especimen 49 EP incl. Cut Knob, Deng & Slavak, Yuriy From Russia remixes [SMD039]

The NuFects duo from Columbia proved their talent already on BCSA, Freegrant Music and Entangled, this time they show up on Suffused Music with an impressing progressive load, called 'Especimen 49'. The remixes comes from Deng & Slavak, Cut Knob and Yuriy From Russia.
Original mix is a balanced combination of the classic progressive sound with today's standards, deep and melodic in the same time.
Cut Knob's rework turn out a more melodic, tripping way, with the carefully added plus string layers we head into a state of instant euphoria.
Yuriy From Russia focused on a deeper approach in his interpretation, with a stripped back melody progression and more additional FX's and completive samples.
Deng & Slavak's work is closer to the classic prog vibes, operating with a strong, psy-feel groove. The main synth with the xylophone taste really creates a peaceful island in the breakdown, than we march forward on a high tempo.
