First we could catch the beautiful original of Silvio Gutierrez's 'Reason To Forget' on the famous 'Initalizing 2014' compilation. As one of the strongest productions it deserved an own EP slot with a monster pack of remixes arriving from the progressive A-team: Ewan Rill, Progress Inn and Yuriy From Russia.

The original track slowly evolves from a deep atmosphere with some glistering synth notes, which makes it more like a fantastic travel through uplifting sounds.

Ewan Rill can't go wrong, as this remake is something that's truly Ewan from the very finest. With the crunchy baseline we get into the middle of the miracle, spiced with some cool, additional bits & pieces.

Progress Inn just take the track to a different level, with a decent pick of hypnotizing, yet techy, but still progressive attitude. Igor & Janko are pointing on their favourite elements from the original, just energized it with a lethal groove and a long lasting string.

Yuriy From Russia kept the deep edge, but operates with a more complex melodic structure. - Greyloop

Stereo For Two - Squint Stereo EP incl. Ewan Rill, qoob, Subgate [SMD063]

Stereo For Two is a project by Tim Verhees and Joris Bylemans, two friends & accomplished musicians, who mix their jazz- and classical training and their recording studio know-how with their love for electronic music to bring you quality tracks ranging from deep house to techno. The guys appears on Suffused Music's roster the first time, and already make a remarkable debut with their epic tune called 'Squint Stereo', with tight beats, frenetic synth riffs and an interesting speech about the miracle of stereo. The EP become full with the additional interpretations by Ewan Rill, qoob and Subgate.
Ewan Rill just grabbed the melodic parts of the original and combined them with his usual "sick" groove and a mind-moving synth section. Subgate stripped down the main structure, carefully added some cool percussion elements, and stay true the the main synth theme.
qoob's version is a playful adaptation of glitchy arps and acid, melted into an airy atmosphere. - Greyloop

The 62nd release on Suffused Music finds the label welcoming Carpathian Paths for their debut appearance. The trio of Ukrainian producers began their production career just over two years ago with a single on Clinique Recordings. It's been a steady rise through the progressive house underground with appearances on Matteo Monero's Never Too Late Records and also Morningglory Music. Known for their driving, up tempo brand of progressive house Carpathian Paths have been heavily featured during the peak moments of many DJ s sets this year. Their brand new single for Suffused Music entitled 'Burkut' continues that trend with razor sharp synths and a wonderful complement of clanky drums. With the anticipation building the groove slowly fades out to a brief but serene interlude. This summons the introduction of the bass line which is one of the magic elements of the record. It's pulsating wall of rumbling tones is massively powerful and instantly provides an electric atmosphere. The break beat interlude is the ultimate dance floor transition back to the thunderous groove which rises up once more for a perfect blend of melody and psychedelia. Pablo German - Social Paradigm EP incl. Dr. Avalance, Jor Messina, Robert R. Hardy [SMD061]

Pablo German is back on Suffused Music getting an EP slot for his previous entry on the Initalizing Vol. II. compilation, called 'Social Paradigm'. The young argentinean is getting remixed by Robert R. Hardy, Jor Messina and Dr. Avalance.
You may remember the original track, which was one of the strongest productions on the compilation, promoting the beloved sound of the southern side of America. Nice mellow soundscapes running through a massive, hypnotizing foundation.
Dr. Avalance dropped his well known psychadelic touch on the main frame, which remains in the world of progressive but with tighter melodic structure.
Jor Messina used the recognizable elements from the original, and gave an energy blast on a stripped back milieu spiced with wicked FXs and effects.
Robert R. Hardy is on fire at the moment, his tracks and remixes are waving back from many dj & radio mixes. Robert using fine percussions and relaxed soundprints combined with floating synth layers. - Greyloop
